First Methodist Episcopal Church (now known as First United Methodist Church) is a historic church in Massillon, Ohio, United States, located at 301 Lincoln Way East. It is of stone and sandstone construction with a copper roof in the Richardsonian Romanesque style.[2] The building was dedicated in June 1895[1] and was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on August 22, 1985.[2]

The current Senior Pastor of First United is the Reverend Leslie A. Peine. Reverend Peine graduated from Methodist Theological School in Ohio in 1975, served as Associate Pastor at Grace United Methodist Church in Coshocton, Ohio from 1975 to 1977 and was an Air Force Chaplain from 1977 to 1995 before coming to First United Methodist Church in July 1995.[3]
